About Robyn
Robyn is a dancer, choreographer, and artist originally from South Carolina.
Her work, mixed heritage, and interests lead her to many different spaces, especially performance dance featuring storytelling, therapeutic mind-body connection, cultural dance, embodied worship and more.
She began training at Foothills Dance Conservatory under Ginny Siano-Eck in 2010 at age nine. She studied ballet, contemporary, and modern techniques under Roger C. Jeffrey, Svetlana Todinova, Tracy Vogt, Vaughn Newman and others.
In 2021, Robyn joined Vaughn Newman Dance for their third and fourth seasons, performing in concerts Anchored and Deeply Rooted and Concrete Roses, which contained works discussing peace and the preschool to prison pipeline.
Robyn choreographed and produced Tempest’s Edge, a dance film based on the five stages of grief, funded by the South Carolina Arts Commission 2022 Emerging Artist Grant. Her choreography Never Left (2023) was featured in her newest evening length work Composite Identity, debuted (2024) at the Etherredge Center in Aiken, SC.
From 2023-2024 Robyn trained at the Limón Institute in Nyc under Daniel Fetecua, Kathryn Alter, Rosalie Jones, and others.
She is joining The Movement Project in Cleveland, Ohio for their 2025 Summer Season and teaches modern dance at the Cleveland Dance Project for adults.
